My family groan when I excitedly announce ‘I’ve been thinking’ as it means everyone will shortly be helping me move things, a room, or rooms around.
My brain rarely switches off, thanks to ADHD, and so when it has spare bandwidth (ie always) it is seeking to optimise my life.
This can be moving rooms around, a new organisational system for my clothes or rearranging the kitchen cupboards. Recently my workmates have learnt the phrase and just as enthusiastically groan when I announce it in my classroom.
The problem is that I can just as quickly lose focus as a new idea pops into my head. Which means I have a plethora of half finished projects at home, and embarrassingly at work.
So I ask others around me to keep me accountable. My partner, kids, mum and friends at home. My team mates, colleagues and boss at work.
So anyway, here’s my latest project, my front porch.
